If you are experiencing issues with hearing your teammates or being heard by your teammates, check your in-game audio settings using the steps below to ensure that the game is able to recognize your audio devices.

 

If you are unable to hear other players:

  • In Windows Sound Settings (Playback Devices)
    • Set your headphones as your Default Device 
    • Set your headphones Default Communication Device
    • Disable any audio devices you don't use

WARNING! Do not change spatial audio settings while you are in a party.

  • In SDiF Audio Settings
    • Turn your Voice Chat Volume up (Box 1)

If other players can't hear you:

  • In Windows Sound Settings (Recording)
    • Set your microphone as your Default Device
    • Set your microphone Default Communication Device
    •  
    • Disable any audio devices you don't use
  • In SDiF Audio Settings
    • In Box 3, set your input mic to the microphone you selected in Windows settings
    • In Box 4, make sure your mic volume is not muted
    • In Box 5, make sure your voice chat is on
    • In Box 1, speak into the mic and watch for signal
  • If the box does not light up, there is a problem with your microphone configuration.
  • If the box lights up when you speak, the game is receiving your mic signal.
