If you are experiencing issues with hearing your teammates or being heard by your teammates, check your in-game audio settings using the steps below to ensure that the game is able to recognize your audio devices.
If you are unable to hear other players:
- In Windows Sound Settings (Playback Devices)
- Set your headphones as your Default Device
- Set your headphones Default Communication Device
- Disable any audio devices you don't use
WARNING! Do not change spatial audio settings while you are in a party.
- In SDiF Audio Settings
- Turn your Voice Chat Volume up (Box 1)
If other players can't hear you:
- In Windows Sound Settings (Recording)
- Set your microphone as your Default Device
- Set your microphone Default Communication Device
- Disable any audio devices you don't use
- In SDiF Audio Settings
- In Box 3, set your input mic to the microphone you selected in Windows settings
- In Box 4, make sure your mic volume is not muted
- In Box 5, make sure your voice chat is on
- In Box 1, speak into the mic and watch for signal
- If the box does not light up, there is a problem with your microphone configuration.
- If the box lights up when you speak, the game is receiving your mic signal.
