Today's patch brings a host of improvements to our AI system, especially Fireteam AI, as well as addressing various crashes (especially with AMD graphics cards). Patch 0.4.1 is available now on Steam! 


Please restart the Steam client to download the latest build. 


GAMEPLAY IMPROVEMENTS 


  • Fireteam AI can now be disabled completely, allowing solo play or co-op without AI 
  • Fireteam AI can now be ordered to collapse tunnels with grenades 
  • Doors pulled open now open completely, unless blocked 
  • Campaign missions now award points on replays 
  • Full points on full replay 
  • Reduced points when beginning from a checkpoint 
  • Added FPS caps during loading screens 
  • Added "Videos" option to main menu for documentaries


FIRETEAM AI IMPROVEMENTS 


  • Marine AI now less likely to obscure player line of sight in combat 
  • Marine AI now cover staircases properly while holding interiors 
  • Marine AI now cover more vulnerabilities when flooding interiors 
  • Marine AI now follow incapacitated players properly 
  • Players are no longer locked into receiving first-aid from Marine AI 
  • Animation can be cancelled by moving 


BUG FIXES 


  • Fixed an issue in which cursor disappeared when alt tabbing 
  • Fixed an issue in which cursor persisted through gameplay 
  • Fixed an issue in which Marine AI movement jittery 
  • Fixed an issue in which Marine AI ADS not displaying correctly on clients 
  • Fixed an issue in which Marine AI flashlights not functioning correctly 
  • Fixed an issue in which Marine AI attachments not synced 
  • Fixed an issue in which Marine AI not following players on Apartments 
  • Fixed an issue in which mission failed prematurely while Marine AI available for role assumption 
  • Fixed an issue in which mission VO missing on Northern Train Station 
  • Fixed an issue in which audio missing during intro cinematic on HLZ Wolf 
  • Fixed an issue in which documentary footage audio missing 
  • Fixed an issue in which background audio stacked unintentionally 
  • Fixed an issue in which campaign missions appeared incomplete on timeline 
  • Fixed an issue in which campaign buttons appeared blurry on timeline 
  • Fixed an issue in which players unable to apply changes to input mic in audio settings 
  • Fixed an issue in which armory interact not functioning correctly 
  • Fixed an issue in which first-person animation for opening doors not functioning correctly 
  • Fixed an issue in which SAW and M9 lean animations while crouched not functioning correctly 
  • Fixed an issue in which radio use permitted during documentary footage 
  • Fixed an issue in which documentary footage not functioning correctly before Vigilant Resolve 
  • Fixed an issue in which bed frames and springs couldn’t be penetrated 
  • Fixed an issue in which player throwables phased through walls 
  • Fixed an issue in which player models disappeared during wall climbs 
  • Fixed an issue in which key bind remapping for “Tab” options not functioning correctly 
  • Fixed an issue in which icons for accepting settings changes missing on gamepad 
  • Fixed an issue in which “Stop Mission” button not updating correctly 
  • Various fixes for player getting stuck in environment 
  • Various fixes for AI getting stuck in environment 
  • Various fixes for interacts missing
