We have released a Day One Patch that should resolve this issue.
Please completely close Steam and then restart Steam to ensure you have the latest update.
Some players report that their audio is delayed and cutting in and out after firing.
Six Days has custom spatial audio tuned to deliver the best in-game audio experience. When players use external spatial audio solutions like Windows Sonic and Dolby for Headphones, we automatically disable our custom spatialization and let them handle it, but we recommend disabling them for the best audio experience.
Turning off other spatial audio settings can help with the audio issues reported.
Windows 11:
- Click on Start and select Settings or press the Windows Key + I.
- Under System, click on Sound on the right.
- Select your sound device. (Select the device(s) you use to listen to music.)
- Scroll to the bottom and find the Spatial audio section.
- Select “Off” to disable Spatial sound.
Windows 10:
- Click on Start and select Settings or press the Windows Key + I.
- Select System, and click on Sound on the left.
- Select your sound device in the drop-down list on the left
- Click on Device Properties
- Locate Spatial sound and select “Off” in the drop-down menu to disable Spatial sound.
Our team is looking at how we can improve this experience for players.
